Cusco has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its stunning pre-Columbian history. Known as the "sacred city" by the Incas, its name means "the navel of the world." There are many museums to visit that explore various aspects of the growth and development of Cusco and its surroundings. A strong indigenous presence also adds character to this charming Andean city, making it the perfect place to study Spanish.
And if you have particular interests that you would like to follow while you are in Cusco we will be happy to arrange visits to alternative sites with a teacher for you.
