Antisana is a "stratovolcano" in the northern Andes 50 km east of Quito. At 5.704 meters it is the 4th highest volcano in Ecuador. The Antisana Ecological Reserve was created in July of 1993, and links the Ecological Reserve of Cayambe-Coca and the Sumaco Napo Galeras National Park.
This is an action-packed day for the adventurous spirit, setting out at 7.00 am and returning around 5.30 pm.
