Spanish Courses while you explore Ecuador

A primary goal of Yanapuma Spanish School is to offer visitors the opportunity to learn about Ecuador; its culture, history, traditions, environment, and the challenges it faces as a developing country. We have developed a range of unique intensive Spanish "Study & Travel" programs that offer the chance to travel while you study with your own teacher.
You may either spend:

  • a week living with an indigenous family
  • or in an Amazon or cloud-forest lodge,
  • travel on one of our set programs in different parts of Ecuador,
  • or create your own unique itinerary according to your own interests.

Pricing for these trips can be found on our pricing page. Each program offers 4 hours of Spanish instruction per day, plus plenty of additional time each day with your instructor to practice your Spanish. Our prices are all inclusive with no hidden extras, and there are optional additional activities depending on your preference. See program details for specific information.

Courses begin on Monday mornings, although some programs involve setting out on Sunday to get to the destination. Courses end on Friday after classes and lunch, leaving you free to either stay on to explore further on your own, or to return to Quito with your Spanish teacher to relax or prepare for another Study and Travel" program the following week.
