Yanapuma has worked out agreements with a number of organizations in the health field to receive our students to carry out a practicum. These range from large urban hospitals to small rural clinics and other centers that include traditional and modern medicine. Many are under-funded, under-equipped and under-staffed, and we are committed to trying to help these vitally important organizations to carry out their work as best they can.
Thus, as a student on our Medical Program you can make a significant contribution to their work with your skills and committment. We also include a $200 donation to the center in the cost of the course, and we encourage you to try to raise more funds or bring basic supplies to help them out.
